Our Mission
The mission of CMCO is to advance the study and practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine through education, research and TCM clinics and to provide a center for the study and integration of TCM into other methods of health care.
We aim to operate Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) clinics where TCM practitioners and students and other health care practitioners and students offer affordable health care options to patients with special needs and the public while using the clinic as a setting for the study, research and exchange of ideas, techniques and methods of TCM and Integrative Healthcare.
Vision
CMCO plans to establish several full-time TCM and Integrative Medicine clinics in Denver and the front range area complete with multiple treatment rooms and multidisciplinary practitioners and researchers.
CMCO will collaborate with area schools for seminars and classes on TCM and Integrative Medicine.
CMCO and CCMU will collaborate on TCM and Integrative Health research at CCMU and in collaboration with other universities and clinics.
Goals & Purposes
- to provide healthcare for needy individuals. CCMU has also been providing a substantial amount of free of cost or reduced rate, services to the community for years.
- As the goal is to assist the needy and provide broad charitable benefits, TCM services that are provided are best provided by the CMCO non-profit charitable 501 (3) (c) organization.
- Organize Educational Services and Events for advancing TCM and Integrative Medicine within the Health Professions, Universities, Clinics and associated organizations.
- Sponsoring Continuing Education Programs in TCM and Integrative Health Care for the general public.
- Sponsor receiving grants, scholarships, and donations for development of CMCO programs and sponsor fund raising drives for education and charitable purposes.
- Recruiting EAM and Integrative Health Care Professionals to work and teach for CMCO and CMCO clinics.
- Advance the CMCO CCMU Library for Academic use by CCMU, EAM schools, EAM students, interns, faculty and clinicians, EAM and Integrative Medicine researchers and establish online access to resources.
