Unlock your potential at CCMU
At the Chinese Medicine Community Organization (CMCO), we celebrate excellence. In partnership with Colorado Chinese Medicine University (CCMU) and Yan Jing Pharmacy, we are proud to offer the Academic Impact Scholarship and TCM Outreach Excellence Award, $500 prizes for those advancing Traditional Chinese Medicine. Students, faculty, and staff all eligible. CMCO is proud to support this initiative and encourage broad participation from our community.

The Awards
We offer two distinct awards to recognize the diverse talents within our community.

We uphold the highest standards of academic integrity. All submissions are verified by CMCO and the CCMU Research Department. Falsification or misrepresentation of any information will result in immediate disqualification and potential disciplinary action.
Past Winners
Spring 2026 Outreach Excellence Award Winner: Dakey Supriya

CCMU/CMCO is pleased to announce that Dakey Supriya, a student in the Master of Acupuncture program, has received the Spring 2026 TCM Outreach Excellence Award.
Dakey was selected for her outstanding community engagement and dedication to TCM advocacy. Her accomplishments this trimester include:
- Providing auricular acupuncture to 16 Denver police officers during Wellness Day.
- Administering 100 treatments at the Colorado Acupuncture Expo.
- Representing CCMU at the Chinese New Year Celebration, where she raised public awareness and contributed to increased clinic visits and admissions applications.
In addition, Dakey supports CCMU’s research collaboration with the RAND Corporation and serves as a volunteer mentor to her peers.
We extend our sincere congratulations to Dakey and thank her for her continued commitment to advancing TCM and the mission of CCMU.
